Vintage French 18K & Coral Ring

For thousands of years, coral has been thought to bring good luck and protection to the wearer. Amulets and beads were fashioned from coral and mothers placed them around their babies' necks, wrists and ankles to guard against the 'evil eye'. Popular to wear in the eighteenth through the twentieth centuries, coral was overharvested, and restrictions have been applied to the modern usage of this material.

Our vintage coral band has a gorgeous orange, sun-drenched hue. Mounted in stations across the ring face and interspersed with golden segments, it has a timeless quality that transitions from ancient to modern aesthetic in a flash. Marked with French hallmarks, she is great for adding to any ring stack; you'll love wearing this little slice of the Mediterranean!
