SOLD Vintage 10K & Opal Doublet Ring

A doublet is a translucent "slice" of a gem, in this case a wonderfully colorful opal, which is adhered to a backing in order to thicken the stone for a setting. Set in a 10 karat yellow gold Victorian Revival setting, it is like an orb of confetti framed in lovely floral motifs.
