SOLD Vintage Mid-Century 14K, Pearl & Diamond Ring

 In Western cultures, the pearl has astrological associations with the planet Venus. Like pearls, the goddess of love came from the sea. It is said to be a gem of wisdom and serenity, and has also been associated with the moon due to its spherical shape and glowing white hue.

Diamond has an unconquerable hardness and has been known since antiquity as a “Stone of Invincibility,” bringing victory, superior strength, fortitude and courage to its wearer. It is associated with lightning and fearlessness, and for its properties of protection. The glittering gems have been poetically compared to stars, due to the twinkling effect they have when the light hits them.
