Cocktail rings became popular during the Prohibition Era, in the 1920s. Worn as a luxurious rebellion, women would deck themselves out, showing off large sparkling gems while they sipped their drinks at the speakeasy and parties where Prohibition was ignored. The showy gems ebbed in popularity during World War II, but came back with a bang around the middle of the 20th century, when cocktail parties took off once again, and the "Statement Ring", or "Cocktail Ring" has been going strong ever since!
Just like a pleated skirt fanning out when you twirl on the dance floor, this cocktail ring dazzles with movement and style! Beautifully constructed in 14 karat white gold, it displays a beautiful array of glittering diamonds. Put this sparkler on your finger, and take a whirl around the ballroom!
