Cocktail rings became popular during the Prohibition Era, in the 1920s. Worn as a luxurious rebellion, women would deck themselves out, showing off large sparkling gems while they sipped their drinks at the speakeasy and parties where Prohibition was ignored. The showy gems ebbed in popularity during World War II, but came back with a bang around the middle of the 20th century, when cocktail parties took off once again, and the "Statement Ring", or "Cocktail Ring" has been going strong ever since!
Like a beautiful ballerina, pirouetting on stage, the lacy frills of diamonds on this ring will enchant and delight you! Set in 18 karat white gold, it will glitter and gleam as you gracefully lift your champagne glass when being the toast of the town!
