Estate Victorian Revival 14K, Amethyst & Quartz Dinner Ring

During the middle of the Twentieth Century, a resurgence of appreciation for Victorian fashion occurred and many jewelers emulated the style in their work.

This ring, crafted in 14 karat yellow gold, has an elaborate Victorian Revival shank holding a large pear shaped amethyst gem. A sparkling prong set quartz stone accents the ring face, while a profusion of gold work takes place! Swags of boules extend from the shoulders to the shank, a delicate shell motif anchors the ring face, and a looped bow decorates the top. This could be a 20th century conversion from an antique brooch or pendant.  Quite the fancy package to open up and wear to your next dinner engagement!
