The Belle Epoque, or 'Beautiful Age' (Fr.), was a period of peace and prosperity, with artistic expression taking the forefront in many forms of life, including fashion and jewelry. The timeframe for this era is 1871 - 1914, just before the onset of WWI. In America, this period is referred to as 'The Gilded Age'. The Industrial Revolution stimulated the economy, making it possible for the middle classes to purchase luxuries like jewelry and fashionable adornments.
Crafted in 18 karat yellow gold and platinum, this fabulous French ring is just full of glittering, gleaming diamonds! A graceful, diamond-shaped frame holds five diamonds, set in a vertical line. Six smaller ones accent the corners in clover motifs. The frame itself is also set with diamonds. Too much? No way! Special enough to wear out on the town, tasteful enough to wear all day, you'll find this one to be your signature ring!
