Antique 18K, Pearl & Enamel Bracelet

 Likely dating to the July Monarchy, this bracelet reflects aristocratic taste for architectural ornament rendered in miniature. The palette and technical execution closely parallel the interior decorative programs of the private apartments at Château de Chantilly, created for the Duke and Duchess of Aumale between 1845–1848. A rare and historically resonant example of mid-19th-century French enamel artistry.

This fabulous French bracelet features a luscious deep cobalt blue enamel bow on the face with a creamy pearl in the center.  Hinged panels in white, cobalt and gold enamel decorate the perimeter of the bangle.
