Antique 14K, Garnet & Seed Pearl Ring

Garnets are associated with love, life blood, and the human heart. Because of its similarity to pomegranate seeds, is also symbolic of friendship, and the safe return of loved ones, just as Persephone returned from the Underworld to her mother every Spring, in Greek Mythology.

This wonderful late Victorian ring features a sparkling pink garnet at its center, with natural seed pearl accents. Beautifully executed, the shank holds decorative Egyptian Revival motifs at the shoulders. Looking like wonderful little 'vial' of red elixir, this is just the medicine you need!
