The Victorian Era was such a long phase in history, it has been divided into three periods, with the Romantic Period (1837-1860) occurring at the beginning. The styles of the time reflected a young Queen, who was in the process of getting betrothed and married, then starting a family. Fancy scroll motifs harking back to the Middle Ages was also popular, and jewelers took note, producing pieces that would become iconic looks of the Victorian Era.
This immaculate brooch is crafted in 14 karat yellow gold, with cobalt blue enameling. No scratches, chips or scuffs! It even has a little hook on the reverse, which a dangler can be hung from, or to help secure it to a velvet ribbon, and wear around your neck. the style can be worn today by any gender and will add that touch of color you've been looking for!
