SOLD 18K Gold Diamond Ruby & Enamel French Victorian Ring

This unique French ring is a rare historical jewel of the Napoleon III period (circa 1855). It boasts a natural, no heat Burmese ruby, is encircled by 12 old Mine Cut diamonds, and sits atop a bed of royal blue enameling that offsets the fantastic coloring of the gold mount and the ruby red stone. The ruby was recently replaced as the original one was cracked and chipped.  I can provide the original ruby with the ring if the buyer so desires.   Similar rings we have found are selling for $7,000.00 and up, making this one a wonderful way to begin a collection, or add to yours at an affordable price!
