Art Deco 14K, Diamond & Pearl Conversion Ring

The era we now know as “Art Deco” received its moniker from the Exposition International des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes, held in Paris in 1925, which was largely dedicated to the jewelry arts. Emphasis was placed on the association of art and modern industry. The style was also utilized in architecture, where rectangular blocky forms were often arranged in a geometric fashion, then broken up by curved ornamental elements. But always the aim was a monolithic appearance with applied decorative motifs. It was especially successful in apartment buildings and skyscrapers.
Converted from a small lapel pin, this stunning ring has been paired with a simple gold band. Crafted in 14 karat white gold, the original element features a creamy white pearl at the center, accented with a drip-like trio of beautiful glittering diamonds. Sophisticated and elegant, it looks amazing any way you want to wear it!
