Since the Ancients, Coral has been worn as a stone of protection, often attached to babies' clothing and cradles to ward off the 'Evil Eye'. Very popular during the Victorian Era, it was incorporated into all sorts of jewelry.
These lavish earrings are called "Day to Night", with the bottom portion detachable from the top, creating a day look and a fancier, more elaborate evening look. Beautifully and skillfully carved, the roses and leaves are so natural looking, we have named them after a coral-colored rose variety named "Marmalade Skies"!
