SOLD Antique French 18K, Amethyst & Seed Pearl Modified Navette Ring

This antique French mourning ring came to us as the shank only. The locket top originally held a lock of hair, but that had been removed previously. The elegant and beautiful 18 karat yellow gold shank still had her halo of natural seed pearls, and Kathy started to feel her creative juices flow! Commissioning a pale lavender 'Rose-de-France" amethyst cabochon stone to be custom fitted was a brilliant plan, and then she decided to make the stone positively glow by adding Mother of Pearl behind it- Genius! Mesmerizing, ethereal and magical, we have named this treasure 'Mood'!
