During the Grand Period of the Victorian Era (1860-1885), the Cruciform design became used quite frequently in jewelry. Following the general format of the Christian cross, it allowed for jewels and design work to be packed into one small piece, while maintaining reverence for ones faith.
Hallmarked with the 1867 date letter, the Cruciform motif on this Victorian ring is made of five glowing opals and four bright pink rubies. Set in a shank with Cannetielle work and swirling shoulders, she is ready to dance her way onto your finger!
