SOLD Antique Edwardian 18K, Diamond & Emerald Snake Ring K

The Victorians were fascinated with the snake motif and one can still find so many examples in all manner of 19th century jewels, but none more prolific than the snake ring.  There are many different iterations, from coiled snakes to those that tangle on top of the finger.  What makes this piece stand out is the smooth surface, and the contrasting white and yellow golds of each snake head!  A lovely little creature to nestle on your finger without too much fuss, but with understated elegance!
