Antique Art Deco Platinum, Diamond & Pearl Ring
Pearls have been highly prized for centuries. With their translucence and pleasing symmetry, they are perfect jewels to adorn oneself with. Victorians believed that they embodied purity and goodness, and it became fashionable for new brides or young engaged ladies to wear them. To receive a pearl engagement ring was not at all uncommon, and this could be such an example.
This early Art Deco ring has been crafted of platinum and a beautiful lustrous pearl with a buttercup setting. Diamonds equaling approximately .20ctw stud the shoulders, while the gallery boasts garden gate detailing. Wonderful for stacking or adding to a set, it will surely become a favorite piece from an enduring art movement!
