The era we now know as “Art Deco” received its moniker from the Exposition International des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes, held in Paris in 1925, which was largely dedicated to the jewelry arts. Emphasis was placed on the association of art and modern industry. The style was also utilized in architecture, where rectangular blocky forms were often arranged in a geometric fashion, then broken up by curved ornamental elements. But always the aim was a monolithic appearance with applied decorative motifs. It was especially successful in apartment buildings and skyscrapers.

Beautifully crafted in yellow and white gold which tests between 14 and 15 karat, this classic Art Deco ring is studded with glittering diamonds on the floral inspired ring face. With a low profile, this is the perfect ring to wear day to day. It will easily fit under a glove with no catching and won't get in the way of light tasks. A great ring for Art Deco collectors!
