Antique 14K, 9K, Quartz Crystal & Hairwork Conversion Bracelet

This unusual bracelet is comprised of three antique elements, which were possibly buttons in their first iteration! 9 karat gold set quartz crystal lockets encase plaited hair in three hues: light brown, blond, and dark brown. Monograms (BM, FG, LL) for each locket appear to be painted in reverse, but could be a cut-out painted paper material. At some point in time, these lockets were set on a simple 14 karat gold bracelet body that displays them perfectly! So, here's the mystery: what do these monograms mean? Are they the initials of three close friends who wanted to immortalize their relationship? Or, do the letters spell out a hidden term of endearment or sentence in a secret code? We shall probably never know, but the romantic style of this dreamy, pastel colored bracelet makes it a wonderful addition to any collection!
