Cocktail rings became popular during the Prohibition Era, in the 1920s. Worn as a luxurious rebellion, women would deck themselves out, showing off large sparkling gems while they sipped their drinks at the speakeasy and parties where Prohibition was ignored. The showy gems ebbed in popularity during World War II, but came back with a bang around the middle of the 20th century, when cocktail parties took off once again, and the "Statement Ring", or "Cocktail Ring" has been going strong ever since!
Eighteen Old European cut diamonds surround a huge natural pink tourmaline stone in this over the top bit of bling! Perfect for a party, a night on the town, or any dress-up do, this stunner will have everyone saying, "I'll have what she's having!"
